Bathed in light and lulled by the song of birds,The Mansion "le Clos de la Croix"
offers four double rooms, a family suite and a studio, full of character, with careful decoration. Both keen on auction rooms and passionate about decoration, we wanted to carefully decorate each of our rooms with our finds and favorites, not hesitating to boldly combine eras and styles. A majestic stone staircase will lead you to the rooms. Thus, vYou can choose to sleep in "Lord Isaac's room", former owner from 1740 to 1752, in “Athanasius' room", former owner from 1806 to 1889, in "Mrs. Doullys' room", former owner from 1889 to 1919, in "Brother Pierre's room", a first name common to many owners of the house or even in " Desprairies Doctors' Suite, the same family owner from 1909 to 2017 (4 generations), in the Exupere studio (gardener of the property in 1868).
For one night or for an extended stay, you will find at "le Clos de la Croix"a warm and historic home where you can recharge your batteries.
We would like to point out that our rooms are not equipped to accommodate people with reduced mobility. We are sorry.
The Room of Athanase (owner 1806 to 1889)
Facing due south, "The room of Athanase" has a lovely view of Bayeux Cathedral. This room is located on the second floor, by staircase. With its old framework, a large dressing room, this room has a large bed (160x200), a lounge area with flat screen TV (TNT), Internet access (WIFI), a fully renovated shower room (hairdryer, Fragonard products), with private toilet and window. A courtesy tray is available to our guests. The bathroom linen is from organic farming.

Lord Isaac's Room

Facing due west, "Lord Isaac's Room
" is located on the first floor, by a staircase. With its old stone fireplace, a stone floor, old beams, this room has a queen bed (160x200), a lounge area with flat screen TV (TNT), Internet access (WIFI), a shower room (hair dryer, Fragonard products), completely renovated (Piero Fornasetti earthenware), with private WC and window. A courtesy tray is available to our guests. The bathroom linen comes from organic farming.

Facing due west, "Mrs. Doullys' room"is located on the ground floor. It opens directly into the main courtyard of the house. With an old black marble fireplace, parquet flooring, old beams, authentic "Toile de Jouy", this room has a king bed (180x200), a lounge area with flat screen TV (TNT), Internet access (WIFI), a shower room (hairdryer, Fragonard products) completely renovated (Piero Fornasetti earthenware), with private toilet and window. The Desprairies Doctors' Suite

Facing due south, "the family Suite Desprairies", ideal for a family of 4, is composed of two separate bedrooms. It has a lovely view of Bayeux Cathedral. This suite is located on the second floor. With its old framework, a terracotta floor, this suite has a queen bed (160x200) in one of the bedrooms and 2 single beds (90x200) in the second bedroom, a lounge area with flat screen TV (TNT), Internet access (WIFI), a shower room (hairdryer, Fragonard products), completely renovated, with private toilet and window.
